DAYLIGHT, SUNLIGHT AND OVERSHADOWING

Do you live in the vicinity of the redevelopment site?

The developer has included within it is planning application a Daylight, Sunlight and Overshadowing Report which can be found in the documents section on the planning application webpage here

We recommend residents in the vicinity of the redevelopment site review the report carefully.

The report includes 96 existing surrounding properties within the daylight and sunlight assessment, and these include homes on Brook Drive, Castlebrook Close, Dante Road, George Mathers Road, Herald’s Place, and Renfrew Road. The report also looks at the impact that the proposed buildings will have in terms of overshadowing other surrounding areas.

You can search the report by your street name and locate the number of your home to see if it is included in the study and if it could be impacted by the proposed redevelopment. (Just press CTRL and F together and then type in the details in the search box).

If you find out if your home is included in this report and you want to double check the information please email us at contactstoptheblocks@gmail.comand we will do what we can to try and help (but we are not qualified professionals, able to offer professional advice or expertise in this area).

Alternatively,  please ask a friend or neighbour. From what we have seen to date, everyone wants to help. Don’t be nervous to ask!
